End of Camp
The 2023 camping season at Camp Turk was full of a lot of new things. Camp welcomed a new Camp Director, Katie Beaulieu and Assistant Camp Director, Aislinn Graham. We added some new activities including a new water inflatable, gaga pit, hammocks in the woods and a new fire pit.
Some old activities were brought back that we weren’t able to enjoy the last few years with covid including the out-of-camp hike to Bald Mountain in Old Forge, NY. Halloween, the carnival, the end of the session banquets and the masquerade ball were all a big hit.
Grand Master’s Day was celebrated along with the 100th anniversary of the purchase of the camp property on July 23, 2023. A large crowd gathered and everyone enjoyed all the activities.
